About Munchen Ticket

München Ticket GmbH is a Munich-based ticketing agency founded in 1993 by resolution of the Munich city council and jointly owned by the municipal entities Gasteig München GmbH and Olympiapark München GmbH. It sells tickets on behalf of organizers, in their name, for roughly 5,000-6,000 concurrently listed events in and around Munich, spanning concerts, theatre, musicals, sports and classical/family events, rather than promoting events under its own brand. Its revenue comes solely from booking and system fees added to the ticket price, not from a markup on the ticket itself. Beyond ticket sales, it provides digital access-control (its ELZA system), box-office and finance/accounting support to organizers.
